7 People Who Have Been Cut Off by Meghan Markle, Sources Say

This week it was revealed that Meghan Markle is no longer friends with David and Victoria Beckham, who were VIP guests at her wedding to Prince Harry. "They are beginning to see who the real Harry and Meghan are, and they don't want to be in the same sphere," Former royal butler Paul Burrell told GB News this week. "[Meghan] will use people and drop them when she's finished with them." The Mail on Sunday describes this phenomenon as being "Markled," detailing a laundry list of friends the Duchess of Sussex has left behind. "The word is cruelly used by critics of the one-time soap serial actress to describe how she is seemingly able to swiftly move on from some of those once closest to her," they say. Here are seven people they claim Meghan has "Markled" in recent years. 

Meghan's relationship with her father, Thomas Markle, has "most notoriously" been Markled, claims the publication, "after he sold paparazzi pictures of himself preparing for his daughter's wedding." She has reportedly not seen him in years, nor has he met his grandchildren. 

Meghan was reportedly very close to George and Amal Clooney, visiting them at their homes in LA and Oxfordshire. However, according to The Mail, they are no longer "bosom buddies." When George was recently asked how he knew the former Suits star, he responded, "I don't." However, he did appear at King Charles's Prince's Trust event in London in May.

According to reports, Katy Perry and Orlando Bloom, their neighbors in Montecito, have drifted apart from Harry and Meghan. "Katy was close at one point but she has been travelling a lot so it's been hard to sustain a close friendship," a source told the publication. "Katy performed at King Charles' coronation concert, so perhaps she's taken sides?"

Harry and Meghan were once chummy with the Obama family, with reports that the former POTUS and his wife had taken the biracial couple under their wing, but the relationship fizzled. "There was an expectation that we would see Meghan and Harry at events with the Obamas, but there has been nothing," a Democrat donor said. 

The Mail reports that Mariah Carey is no longer friends with Meghan after calling her a "diva" on the Duchess's now-canceled Spotify podcast.

Meghan's childhood best friend Ninaki Priddy is reportedly no longer on Meghan's friend's list. According to The Mail, they "fell out" over Meghan's treatment of her first husband Trevor Engelson. 

Jessica Mulroney, Meghan's "Best Friend Forever," who was a bridesmaid at the Sussexes' wedding, seems to have been crossed off Meghan's friend list. She hasn't been photographed with Meghan ever since she was "canceled" after being accused of racism on social media.
