The Best and Worst Royals Poll: Meghan Hits Record Low, Prince Harry Gets a Boost
Meghan Markle’s popularity has decreased over the past few months, according to a major survey.
The Royal Family as a whole is loved by many. However, some members of the clan are adored and appreciated more than others. Enter YouGov, a global public opinion and data company that tallies up the votes of adults in the United Kingdom to measure popularity on a variety of topics, including who the most and least liked members of the family are.
This week the latest statistics were released, revealing that Meghan Markle is at her lowest point in terms of popularity since she hooked up with her now-husband, Prince Harry, in 2017. Read on to see who came in last.
According to the quarterly survey, Meghan's favorability rating has fallen to -47, which is her all-time low. According to the company, 67 percent of Britons have a negative view of her, while just 21 percent hold her in high regard.
Prince Harry, on the other hand, redeemed himself (a tiny bit) since the last poll. His favorability rating rose from -44 to -36. Just 28 percent of people positively viewed the Duke, while 64 percent have a negative view of him.
King Charles saw a spike in popularity, with a +32. According to the survey, 62 percent positively view the new King of England.
Queen Camilla has dropped in rating since April. She was at a +9 back then and is now at +4. However, this is a huge boost since she first entered into the popularity competition in 2011, when she was at a measly -15.
Two of the Royal Family's shining stars, The Prince and Princess of Wales, are two of the most appreciated members of the family. William's favourability rose to +57, up from +52 in April.
75 percent of people positively view the future King and just 18 percent have a negative view. Kate also rose five points to +59.
Who is the least-liked person in the family? Unsurprisingly, Prince Andrew. He scored a net total of -70.
