Newest Details in Lori Vallow Daybell Case as She Gets Confronted By Son: "You Ripped My Heart Out."
During Colby Ryan’s testimony, a chilling phone call was played to the jury.
Lori Vallow Daybell is currently on trial in Idaho for the murder of her children, Tylee Ryan and J.J. Vallow. This week her only surviving adult son, Colby Ryan, was called to the witness stand to testify against his mother – but it wasn't just his testimony that left the courtroom speechless.
A chilling 2020 phone call between Ryan and his mother was played for the jury in which he point-blank accuses the woman who birthed him of murdering his siblings.
Colby Ryan Refused to Make Eye Contact with His Mom
"Oh my baby," Vallow, 49, reportedly said when her son entered the courtroom. Per East Idaho News reporter Nate Eaton, he avoided eye contact with his mother, even though she stared at him while he delivered his shocking testimony.
During his testimony, he revealed that he was contacted by police in November 2019 about his missing siblings. He also revealed that he had exchanged texts with Tylee around the same time. However, they were "in a different language than how Tylee would talk and type."
He Called His Mom in Jail After the Bodies Were Found
After his mother was arrested and the bodies of his siblings had been found on his stepfather Chad Daybell's property, he called his mother in jail. "Do you think you can hide from me?" he demanded during the call, played to the jury.
"I'm not hiding. Why would you think I'm hiding?" she responds. "Probably because you murdered my siblings," he coldly says to her.
"My siblings, my whole family, my dad — everyone is gone except my mom, and you're in jail because of it. You ripped my heart out. You ripped everyone's heart out," he continued. "To know that they're gone, and you knew! And my phone is being texted by my little sister, who's not even alive."

She Told Him It Was "God's Will"
"My poor brother, who is the sweetest little kid ever — for what purpose? You tell me this is God's will: For my whole family, including my stepfather, to be dead," he continued. "I have prayed for you in my worst moments. I have prayed for my siblings, who you swore to me were OK. I thought I could trust you. I thought that you were a completely different person."
Vallow laughs during the call. "I love you, I always will. One day you will see and one day you will understand," she said. "They love me and they are fine … You can go ahead and judge me all day long."
