Woman Lost 40 Pounds by Eating a Delicious One-Pan Pasta Dish

Cindy K, or @thechicpea, has become a weight loss influencer for sharing all of the food she ate to help her lose 40 pounds – including a one-pan pasta dish people are going wild over.

Cindy maintains that her goal is to make "healthy taste delicious." She shares lots of videos revealing the recipes to her favorite high protein meals.

She Claims This 15-Minute Pasta Helped Her Lose 40 Pounds

One of them is a "creamy" one-pan pasta dish that takes just 15 minutes to make. She aptly named it "15-minute, one-pan, creamy, spicy turkey pasta."

Sauté Ground Turkey with Onions and Garlic

She starts cooking by sautéing ground turkey with diced onions and garlic. "Sauté diced onions, garlic, and ground turkey; season with salt and pepper," she says.

Turn Up the Spice

Next, she adds "one tablespoon of Trader Joe's Calabrian Chili Paste. If you don't have the paste, you can use chili flakes and tomato paste instead.

Add the Uncooked Pasta

Now, it's time for the uncooked pasta. She throws in her "pasta of choice" into the mix.

Add Some More Protein

Because the goal is to get in as much protein as possible, she adds some bone broth or chicken broth and marinara pasta sauce into the pot. She uses Rao's.

Simmer for 10 Minutes

"Bring to a boil, then lower heat to a simmer and cover for 10 minutes or until pasta is cooked through," she adds.

Add Light Cream Cheese

After the pasta is fully cooked, she removes the lid and adds a "spoonful or two of light cream cheese or creme fraiche" and mixes well.

Mix and Serve

She stirs the mixture until the pasta has a thick consistency. She serves it in a bowl and garnishes it with parmesan cheese and fresh basil. Her last piece of advice? "Try to just eat one bowl," she says.
