Woman Lost 79 Pounds With These 2 Simple Changes
An influencer reveals the secret to her weight loss.
One of the best ways to kickstart your resolutions to get healthier, fit, or lose weight is to learn about how other people are doing it. This is why fitspirational social media influencers – real people sharing about their weight loss journeys – are so popular. One of them, Bims (@bimboprincess101) has amassed nearly 60,000 followers on TikTok, where she shares all the details about how she lost 79 pounds.
In one of her latest viral videos, she reveals two simple changes she made that helped her achieve her weight loss goals. The first component of her weight loss? She claims that intermittent fasting was influential in helping her drop pounds.
"What I eat after 12 hours of IF [intermittent fasting] that helped me lose 36kg [79 pounds] & for weight management," read the text over the video.
The other component that helped her achieve her "dream body"? A protein-rich diet, she claims in the video.
According to Bims, the first thing she has is a protein drink and sliced fruit. "300g of watermelon, coconut water, and two scoops of collagen for protein," the text continued.
In a previous YouTube video shared by Bims, she explains why she decided to try time restricted eating. She says she had been trying to lose weight with exercise alone, but wasn't getting results.
She also created a vision board and used it to motivate herself. "This showed me you that should do what works for your body and self-love is the only way to lose weight," she said.
"I tell people when you want to lose weight that you have to love yourself so deeply because only you know what you want to change."
In another video she revealed all the fruits she eats after fasting. They include berries, pineapple, apples, mango, oranges, and watermelon.
In addition to collagen, she also takes omega-3s, sea kelp, magnesium, sea moss, and a multivitamin with iron. Omega-3 fatty acids, primarily found in fish, flaxseeds, and walnuts, are essential nutrients renowned for their numerous health benefits. First, they're vital for brain health; regular consumption can improve cognitive functions and potentially reduce the risk of Alzheimer's. They also play a pivotal role in heart health by reducing triglycerides, lowering blood pressure, and decreasing the risk of stroke and heart disease. Additionally, omega-3s have anti-inflammatory properties, which can alleviate symptoms of arthritis and other inflammatory conditions. Moreover, they support eye health, potentially reducing the risk of macular degeneration. Studies also indicate that omega-3s may aid in reducing depression and anxiety, showcasing their expansive health-promoting properties.
