Meghan Markle Labeled Talentless, "Just Because You're Famous Doesn't Make You Great at Something"

A major entertainment player reportedly lashed out at the former actress.

Before landing her career-making role on the TV show Suits, Meghan Markle struggled to make a name for herself in Hollywood. From being a briefcase model on Deal or No Deal to a raunchy cameo in the 90210 redux in 2008, she definitely played her dues. However, once she was cast in the USA series, her career suddenly took off. The actress famously left Hollywood behind for her tiara after meeting Prince Harry, but her career as a working member of the Royal Family didn't last long, and Meghan returned to Hollywood in 2020. Instead of returning to acting, the Duchess decided to start a podcast with Spotify. But according to one top industry exec, it failed due to her lack of talent. Read on to discover what he said about her skills.

Zimmer isn't the only entertainment executive to come down hard on the couple. Spotify executive and podcaster Bill Simmons recently lashed out after their deal with Spotify went kaput. "I wish I had been involved in the 'Meghan and Harry leave Spotify' negotiation," he said on his self-titled podcast. "'The Grifters.' That's the podcast we should have launched with them."

He also revealed that he personally talked about podcasts with Prince Harry. "I have got to get drunk one night and tell the story of the Zoom I had with Harry to try and help him with a podcast idea. It's one of my best stories… The grifters."
