11 Things to Never Keep in Your Car, As Thefts Rise

Here’s how to keep your stuff safe.

Car thefts are rising, after a two year dip, as new technologies make your vehicle easier to steal. Thieves have "figured out an easy way to steal the Kia's and a couple others that are very easy to get into and start. They pretty ingeniously come up with some computer programs. There's also some ways that they're going to dealerships, test driving a car, and while they're in it they're finding a way to program a key fob," Ashley Paulk, sheriff of Lowndes County, said. How can you keep your things safe? Here are 11 things to never keep in your car, as thefts rise.

They can spoil quickly and create unpleasant odors, making your vehicle an easy target for pests.  By being mindful of these 11 things, you can help protect yourself and your belongings from potential thefts. Remember to lock your car, park in well-lit areas, and report any suspicious activities to the authorities. Stay vigilant and keep your car as safe as possible.
