Prince Harry's Attacks on Camilla "Destroyed" Chances of Reconciliation With King Charles, His Friend Says

King Charles is very hurt after Harry went after his wife in "Spare".

In the months leading up to the publication of Prince Harry's tell-all memoir Spare, sources close to King Charles maintained that his wife, Queen Camilla, was his primary concern. He knew that his son would likely go after other members of the family, but if his youngest went after his beloved wife, their relationship could be damaged beyond repair.

Now, sources close to the family say what Harry wrote about his stepmother ultimately destroyed any possible reconciliation.

The friend also confirmed that "a huge part of it" was that the attacks on his wife made Charles more resentful toward Harry. "Charles has made it very clear that he loves both his sons so the door will never be bolted shut."
