Woman Lost 100 Pounds With This Delicious Pizza Recipe
The entire pizza is less calories than one slice of pizza from a store
Losing weight doesn't have to mean eating only dull food. Just take it from all the TikTok influencers regularly sharing recipes on the social media site of delicious and surprisingly healthy meals. It's hard to believe that you can eat your favorite meals and still lose weight – even pizza, according to one woman.
Ilana Muhlstein (@nutritionbabe) is an influencer with over 2 million followers on TikTok. She regularly shares healthy recipes that helped her lose 100 pounds.
One surprising slim down meal that is one of her go-tos? Pizza oozing with cheese.
In a video Muhlstein shared with her followers, she holds up a slice of pizza from a box and a substantial homemade pizza she cooked.
Can you believe this entire pizza has 260 calories?" Muhlstein asks.
"And this slice has over 300. I don't know about you, but if I'm hungry, one slice is not going to cut it," Muhlstein says.
"That's not to say that I don't love some good Italian pizza," Muhlstein continued. "But I'm an eater, and when I'm hungry, I know that I need to eat a good amount of protein to help me stay full and satisfied."
Muhlstein then shows how to make the pizza, placing her homemade dough on a baking sheet, seasoning it with herbs and spices, adding tomato sauce, and sprinkling grated cheese on top.
In a follow-up post Muhlstein revealed how to make the dough using four fresh egg whites – or three-quarters of a cup of liquid egg whites and two and a half teaspoons of cornstarch. "Start with a large glass bowl and get the freshest egg whites that you can get your hands on," she said.
"You can use a carton, but make sure that it's a fresh carton," Muhlstein said. "Then use an electric beater to turn it into a large foam cloud, and then add the corn starch and do it again," she added.

"Once it looks good you'll spread it onto a non-stick baking sheet. Make it a circle if you want to make a pizza or burrito and bake for 23 minutes. Let it cool for three minutes before adding your toppings," Muhlstein said. She added in the caption: "Top with your favorite pizza sauce and cheese."
