These are the best places to live if you want to eat healthy.
Americans really need to improve their diets. That's not exactly headline news—even if we're not doing it, we're aware we should. But if you ask your neighbors to join you at a plant-based restaurant, you'll be less likely to be greeted with a raised eyebrow in some states than others. The health information site Great Green Wall Health analyzed which states' residents made the most searches for 115 common healthy eating terms, from "healthy dinner recipes" to "healthy food near me." These are the top 10 states for healthy eating in America, according to that data.
In tenth place, Virginians made 1,639 monthly searches for healthy eating terms per 100,000 residents.
The Golden State came in ninth place, with an average of 1,703 monthly searches for every 100,000 people.
Nevada averaged 1,782 searches a month on average for every 100,000 residents.
The Sunshine State came in seventh place nationwide, with 1,789 monthly searches per 100,000 people.
Massachusetts averaged 1,800 healthy-eating searches per 100,000 residents.
New York landed in fifth place with 1,803 monthly searches. According to the survey, the state's most common healthy-eating online queries are "healthy food near me" and "healthy restaurants."
The Lone Star State came in fourth with 1,822 average monthly searches per 100,000 people.
Among the 50 states, Utah grabbed the silver medal with 1,831 searches for healthy eating terms per 100,000 residents.
Arizona registered 19,010 searches about healthy eating per 100,000 people, the second-highest ratio in the US.

Judging by search volume, residents of the Centennial State are the nation's most eager healthy eaters, making 2,114 related searches for every 100,000 people.
