In her video, MaKayla touted the meal as an "easy lunch (for busy people who have goals to reach)" revealing the simple recipe.
"Pack an easy, high protein, no cooking required fall lunch with me," she said about her Autumn Harvest Chicken Salad.
She started off with four to six ounces of "any" chicken (she used shredded) and then added in apples, chopped nuts, and cranberries.
For the dressing, instead of a high-calorie pick, she whipped up her own using two tablespoons of light mayo, two tablespoons of Greek yogurt, two tablespoons of honey, lemon juice, salt, pepper, and garlic.
After making the autumn harvest salad, she plated it in a glass container, along with some crackers and yogurt with caramel and apples.
She previously shared a recipe for "lazy girl lasagna," saying, "If you love good food but have goals to reach (and have a picky family) try this one skillet meal I ate with my family while losing 50 pounds postpartum," in a video.
To make it, she starts off by breaking off 6 pieces of lasagne noodles. Then, she boils them for six minutes until cooked.
Next, she sautees a pound of Italian turkey sausage (or lean beef). She then adds one-half jar of marinara sauce, adds seasoning, and then adds cooked noodles.
Next up is making the "creamy layer." She suggests adding "tons of protein" in the form of 5 oz of Greek yogurt, a half cup of ricotta, a quarter cup of skim mozzarella, and a quarter cup of parmesan. Then, she adds half a teaspoon of Italian, garlic, seasoning salt, and pepper. Now, she adds the creamy layer to the mixture and adds another half jar of marinara sauce.
The recipe makes 7 servings. A single serving was just 281 calories, 11 grams fat, 24 carbs and 21 grams of protein.
